Workshop design, delivery and facilitation across a broad range of domains

This work typically involves scoping exactly what the workshop (s) is to deliver. This could include:

  • attendees learning and experience during the workshop

  • specific learning outcomes to be measured

  • specific outcomes such as strategic plans or roadmaps

  • specific reports to be prepared following the workshop (and to what standard)

  • any follow up activities

These dictate the workshop design and facilitation style.



Assisting clients to develop capacities in disease anticipation, prevention, preparedness, response and control. This work includes developing a more holistic understanding of the underlying drivers of disease emergence.

  • Identify the clients major focus and required outcome (Strategic plan, report, real capacity development, training curriculum development)

  • Review any previous assessments of capacity

  • Engage relevant expertise

  • Conduct training and/or consultation as required

  • Review and report

  • Follow-up processes


Technical capacity reviews (e.g. epidemiological capacity assessments at National levels, after-action reviews following outbreak responses). This work typically involves:

  • Meetings and discussions

in-country meeting with government officials at National and sub national levels, meeting with high level decision makers (e.g. Ministers or Director Generals of relevant departments) and senior decision makers in other UN organizations such as World Health Organization (WHO) other stakeholders such as Universities, Veterinary Associations etc.

  • Draft report preparation and feedback

  • Presentation of draft findings to decision makers

  • Final report
